ABOUT ERIN

Being creative is something I have enjoyed for as long as I can remember. I have studied and taken classes for years under the direction of many successful and well known artists. These mentors have shaped my vision and technique in a way I believe no traditional art school ever could.

While learning and perfecting my craft over the last 5 years, I have slowly and carefully curated a business and brand I am genuinely passionate about. I am a Louisiana Master Gardener and gain inspiration for my work using the organic shapes and color variances found in nature. I also have a strong appreciation for interior design and how a well thought out space can elevate the way you live unassumingly in the background. My husband, Scott, and I have one young child, Hannah, two adorably bad goldendoodle pups, and a sweet and very patient kitty.

About the Process

I create my art in a natural light studio inside of my home. Large windows overlook my garden and I feel connected and settled by the sunlight and views both of nature and the space I have created for myself to paint within. I consider myself to be an abstract expressionist, meaning my vision is loosely describable and comes from a place within created impulsively and without prior planning.
